Easter at the Ranch

This year we spent Easter at my Grandpa's ranch. It was such a nice weekend spending time with all my family. We left on thursday and were going to get an early start right when my old manager called me up and wanted me to apply for teaching position at Eagle Gate College so since its a job that I really want I had to take an hour test that set us behind a lot on our drive but it should be worth it. Then we met my cousin Cydne and her Husband at Pizza Factory in Cedar it was so nice to finally spend time with her it had been way too long and I hope to see her soon. Then we got down to the ranch that night had dinner, sat in the hot tub for awhile then walked back down to the house. Friday we talked my Aunt into taking Tyler and I horseback riding around the ranch which is becoming one of our favorite things to do everytime we come down. Here are some pictures of the rest of our trip.
Grandpa had to help her with the eggs in the plants she did not like touching the plants.
The beginning of Kate's First Easter Egg hunt which she was a pro at.

The Easter bunny brought Kate some doll accessories which she loves, anytime she is around babies she always wants to feed them and give them her binky. She also got a new book, play dough a bunny and a new Easter Dress.

On Saturday we stopped by at my Grandma's house to visit since I only get to see her twice a year and Nate and Gina were staying there so we were able to all hang out and talk for awhile and then my Grandma made us Chocolate Soda Shakes that her dad used to make for her they were really good. It was so much fun spending time with her I feel so grateful having such a great family I love them so much.

Kelsie, Gina, Grandma, and I
Kate and Annie on one of the cars at the car show, this old couple owned this car and told us we could sit on it to take a picture they were very nice.

What can I say Kate can't get away from the bounce houses.

The whole vacation all Kate would say was Moo and Neigh until she was sitting ride by the pastuers looking at the horses and cows. One night I don't think we were able to leave until it was too dark, she was feeding the horses and would drop the grass before the horses could eat it cause she got scared.

Sounds like fun! Matt and I were talking last night, and the last time either one of us has been to St. George was when we went to your grandpa's ranch, before we were even engaged! Kate's Easter dress is so cute! You'll have to tell me more about that job... full time/part time position? What you'd be doing... sounds like it'd be cool though.

What a cutie! I just love her. And I think I remember reading on facebook that you did get that job? Congratulations on that!
