Vacation Time

This summer once Tyler finally finished up at the Greenhouse we had a couple vacations planned. The First one we went on was up to Eden to stay with our friends Katie and Shawn, they were house sitting so we mainly hung out there. It was such a fun house for the kids they were entertained most of the time, and it was also right across the street pretty much from Pineview Resevoir. So we went boating on thursday and it was such a nice day, know one was on the lake so it was glass, I got to go wakeboarding and wakesurfing. We went out to dinner two of the nights to pretty much the only two restraunts up there but they were good. Thanks Katie for having us up we had a blast. Here are some of the pictures.
This first one is the view from the house it was so awesome.
Kate and Tyler cooling off, she loved the lake and boat
So Katie told all the kids to look under the tramp and find the rocks well since Kate loves rock thats all she wanted to do.
Playing in the pool
The guys lived in the basketball court

All the kids Katie's such a natural. Kate was the only one daring enough to stand up, we couldn't get her to sit.
My Grandpa's Ranch
After we came home from Eden we were home for about two days then we left to my grandpas ranch for the next week. It was so cute the night before we left we went grocery shopping and when we got home Kate wouldn't get out of her car seat because she wanted to go to so bad, soTyler told Kate we were going to see the horses and moo's the next morning when the sun came up. So that night I swear she didn't sleep at all, and about 5am she started jumping on our bed and pulling all the covers off of me, saying horses and moo's it was crazy. So we decided she wouldn't go back to sleep until we were in car. So we finished packing up and left, it was nice cause there was no traffic. On the way down I think cause Kate had not slept she got way car sick and started throwing up so I had to catch it and throw it in a bag and if you know Tyler he won't stop for anything so it smelled great the rest of the way down.
Down there we had a lot of fun, since it was so hot you couldn't be outside during the day we spent most of our time in the pool or inside the house hanging out with my family. The next day our friends Chad and Jamie came down with their two kids, Kate loved having a friend to play with down there. We picked blackberries almost everyday and one night we got enough to finally make blackberry shakes. One of the morning Tyler and I woke up before everyone else and met up with Dede to go horseback riding since it has become a tradition I don't have any pictures cause i don't think to grab my camera that early in the morning. Afterwards we got ready and headed to St. George to go visit my Grandma, Kate finally warmed up to her this time now that she is not so shy it was cute. Then the last night we were there it was so funny Dede, Annie, Tyler and I went for a walk to wear out Heinz and Alecia's puppy and Kate kept begging to pull the puppy, so we let her hold the leash and she did really well the puppy just couldn't keep up with her and she pulled him all the way from Dede's to the top of the steep driveway with no help it was so funny. Here are the pictures I did get

Vicki gave Kate this hat because she kept stealing Baba's, it fits her perfectly
Kids didn't like eating breakfast inside so they brought it outside
Top of the waterfall, the guys were building a damn the whole time, so the kids could play in the water.
Jumping in the pool after the hike, was so nice to cool off

Hayden and Kate holding hands, so cute
picking blackberries
Kate feeding the horses, can't wait till she's old enough to ride one.

Eating blackberry shakes, always very messy
