Easter 2012

 We had a great Easter this year, it started to week before we had Tyler's family Easter party and the kids had an Easter Egg Hunt at the greenhouse, Kate found most of her eggs all by herself and they even hid some for Conner he loved grabbing them and wouldn't let go of them he had the biggest smile on his face.After we had a big lunch and hung out the rest of the day. It was also Conference weekend and we were able to listen to some of the talks I love how you can turn it on and there's always a talk on evactly what you need to hear at that moment.

 During the week I watched a neighbors kids and the kids dyed Easter eggs. you can never have enough eggs to dye with kids I've learned.

 We aso made Easter cookies thanks to Jolynn for decorating

 The morning of Easter didn't go as planned, the Easter bunny had left Easter eggs all around the house, so when the kids woke up they would know he came, but instead Kate woke up throwing up at 6 and couldn't stop till 10 it was so sad. Once she had stopped I mentioned to her the Easter bunny might have come and she jumped out of bed to go look but as you can tell in this picture she couldn't walk very long.

 Even though Kate didn't feel good, she helped Conner get all of the things out of his basket before hers, and then she looked at all of her stuff and then ran and threw up again so she didn't get to enjoy that. I gave her lots of gatorade hoping it was would help her feel better so we could try and make it to our family party that night and a few hours later she was running around again playing.

 We went to my Uncle John's and had dinner with all my mom's side of the family it was so nice being with everyone, usually we go to my grandpa's ranch on Easter but this year it didn't work out with everyone's work schedule. My mom put together an Easter egg hunt for all the kids and my cousin Parker was so cute and helped Kate cross the stream and find all of hers.

 Conner loves animals, anytime he sees one he jumps out of my arms to touch them, right after this picture the chicken bit his finger and he didn't even care.

 This Easter was great I loved spending time with all my family. The next morning Kate finally was over the stomach flu and woke up at 7 am and kept coming in our room and saying it was Easter day yesterday come play and I had to keep giving her things to do so we could sleep in and when we woke up we went in the living room and she had all the easter eggs lined up and everything out of her basket and was finally excited about Easter.
