Cabin fun

 Like I said we August has been so hot and we've been trying to escape the heat, so we planned a trip up to our cabin in Kamas with our friends Matt and Jolynn. The girls couldn't even wait to play all weekend together they had to ride up together. We stopped at Dick's drive in and had dinner then got up to the cabin kind of late so the guys cut up some wood for a fire because believe it or not it was actually cold up there. While the guys were out chopping up wood one of the neighbors walked up to them and said there was a bear sighting in the cabin area so we didn't walk around the cabin area very much. The kids would just play right next to the cabin where we could see them.
  The next day we drove up to Provo Falls the kids loved climbing on the rocks and throwing rocks in the water, Conner could've thrown rocks all day in the water. Then we drove farther up the mountain to have a picnic but the rain kept following us and just down pouring. We finally went to Mirror Lake and it wasn't raining there yet but as soon as we got the food out it started pouring so we decided to just eat in the back of the car and hope the rain passed so we could walk around the lake.That night since we couldn't do a camp fire outside we just made smore's in the fireplace but instead of using just chocolate we use Reese's peanut cups and I usually hate smore's but I'm addicted to those thanks to Jolynn. The next day we took the kids down to the swing for a few hours and then did some shopping at the Outlet stores.

 There's a tire swing below our cabin that we take the kids to and they have a blast this was Conner's first year and we couldn't get him off the swing.
