Conner's 2 year old Truck birthday

For Conner's 2 year birthday we had a Construction theme I wasn't sure what I wanted to do until I bought these truck pajama's thinking nothing of it and the second he put them on he would look down and say "trucks" and he refused to take them off. I have to hide them when they are dirty so I can wash them, and once they got washed was how he learned to undress and dress himself because he would strip off his clothes to put on truck jammies. So I knew that's what I had to do for his birthday. I made a construction cake with little trucks all over and it was so fun and easy to make. He was taking a nap when I started it and woke up to help me finish it. I loved planning it with him being so excited.
We did 2 birthday parties one with my family and one with Tyler's family because Tyler's sister Kirsten was coming in from North Carolina and we had all of his family come to that one. It was fun for Conner to meet his new niece Lily for the first time and have her at his birthday.

These past two years have been great watching Conner grow and learn. He is such a lively kid, he will not sit and watch TV he is always trying to learn, do new tricks, and play with his toys. He loves his big sister and his favorite book to read at night is the Bear Snores On. He's always making sure I'm good and if he gets a treat or toy at the store he gets Kate one too. I'm excited to watch him grow and I'm glad to be his mom. I love you Conner!!
