Lake Powell this year was super fun we ended up staying for a full 2 weeks and they went by fast. We finally figured out how to use a Kayak surfing, we made our own slip-n-slide, and learned the power of water.
The beach was so nice the kids lived out there and I was very nervous about Conner this year since he didn't know how to swim very well but after a few hours in a life jacket he would go out in the water and say I'm floating and be able to hold himself up and swim back. It scared the crap out of me every time but he was so confident.
This was the first year since Tyler and I got engaged that we could actually go back to the rock because the water was low enough. I can't believe it hard already been 8 years since he proposed. I love that we were able to show the kids.
The last few day we were there a huge rainstorm came and wiped away our beach as you can. The kids got to see how much mother nature can affect everything in seconds.
We always have such a fun group of people we were able to get everyone to go down the slide and land on the tube withour falling off. We also didn't glow in the dark slip-n-slide.
