Kate's 3rd birthday

So Tyler's parents kept asking Kate what she wanted for her birthday and all she would say is a rock, and they would say no something big and she said I want a Big Rock so they brought over a big rock and she couldn't have been more excited she wanted it in her sand box. I love how kids love the simple things.

My little girl is 3 now, I can't believe how fast the time goes. Kate has been so fun this past year I love every second I have with her. The past couple months she would find stuff at the store that she would want and then put it back and say "Mommy I want that for my birthday" it was so cute and the closer and closer it got to her birthday the harder it was for her to put it back. She has loved watching all the Tinkerbell movies lately we decided to do a Tinkerbell birthday party. The day of her birthday we made Tinkerbell pancakes with chocolate chips on them and then that night we went bowling, and she loved it she would carry her own ball and actually got a strike one time she was so excited. After bowling we went and got ice cream, anybody that knows Kate knows she loves ice cream. It was a fun day and every time anyone asks her how old she is she always ask me first because she was so used to saying 2.

Even on her birthday Kate was such a good big sister all she wanted to do was hold Conner.

That Saturday is when we had all of her parties, I thought it would be a lot funner and less stressful to have two parties one for the friends and then one for the family later on. It actually turned out really nice, we set all the pools up, and let the kids run around. Then we did a Tinkerbell scavenger hunt and bean bag toss game.

Kate got lots of fun presents, she got two craft sets, a tinkerbell doll, bubbles and sidewalk chalk, and  play dough, stickers and princess game.

Sydney, Hayden, Kate, Jaden, and Keagan, Poor boys had to deal with all the tinkerbell stuff.

Here are all the things I love about Kate!!

Weight: 26 lbs , and Height: 38 inches

She loves reading books, anytime she goes quiet I always find her in her room sitting on the floor with her books, and I have to take her to the library once a week.

Her favorite color is usually blue most of the time and pink.

Her favorite shows now are Bubble Guppies, Wonder Pets, Super Why, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

She has all the words to Lion King memorized.

She loves to read a book and snuggle right before bed, she sleeps all night and some nights will make me come lay with her, but she does not like to sleep with us anymore.

She loves to hold Conner and sing him songs, she'll run over to him every time he cries and put his binkie (which she calls bottle) in.

Every time I feed Conner she lifts up her shirt and says I want to feed him out of my tummy.

She loves going shopping with me and will even pick out clothes for me and loves grocery shopping.

She was potty trained at the end of last summer, still has some accidents at night but this last week has been doing great. 

She loves to share everything with us, she always makes sure everyone has example: she will lay chips out evenly.

I love how she can just go outside and play in the backyard for hours building sand castles, or sitting on the wall talking to the neighbors.

She loves to dance we just signed her up for dance lessons this month and loves it.

We love Kate so much and can't wait to see what the next year brings.
