October 2012

October was a good month, we had lots going on, Kate loves cooking she asks me to make cookies everyday but if I gave in every day I would end up eating all of them, so I let her make Tyler's favorite cookies no bake cookies.
We had Tyler's uncle's Vow renewal where Kate was able to be a flower girl, she was so cute and loved carrying the flowers down the aisle.
We went to many farmer's markets every Saturday to buy apples and peaches, they were the best apples and I was able to can a lot of applesauce and peaches with them. They also had swings there which made it fun for the kids.

Tyler and I were able to go back to Stein Erickson Lodge for an overnight date and it was so fun and relaxing to do nothing for the night but play some checkers at the tables they have and walk down Main Street.
Tyler's friend invited us to the Jazz game one night he had 8th Row tickets, it was so cool being able to hear the players and see them perfect, to top it off the Jazz won also.
Conner loves his sister and copies everything she does.
Annual Halloween party at my mom's the kids had lots of fun they went trick or treating in the backyard, played games, and carved pumpkins.

We went to Gardner Village with Kami and Jamie and their kids and the kids had so much fun, I go to Gardner Village all year long but I had never done the petting zoo or pony rides it was a lot of fun the kids even sat on a llama.

Here's Kate in her school parade she was so cute and loved waiving at everyone. This month we had to switch preschools for her because she refused to go to her other one, she would scream and cry, so we looked into a few other ones to see if she would do better in another one and she loved it here and I really enjoy, she is learning lots.

 Trick or Treat!!
Halloween night we went to our friends Lamar and Julie's and had soup and Kate did some Trick or Treating, I wasn't planning on doing much that night because she had gotten so much candy from our ward Halloween party and trunk or treat (which I didn't get any pics). Kate convinced me to take her and Conner so we went around the neighborhood and Conner ran the whole way following Kate and he would say "trick or treat" it was so cute, he would also stop at the bottom of the driveway and try and dig in his bag for candy. When we got home Tyler had ran out of candy and Kate was so sad she poured half of her candy in the bowl so she could hand out candy to people. I'm excited for next Halloween, but I think I'll be out all night trick or treating.
